The Broadway Green Alliance (BGA) partnered with Playbill, in celebration of Earth Day 2021, to debut a PSA on April 22, 2021 at 11:30am about the reality of the climate crisis and what the theatre community could do - together and as individuals - to lessen its impact and build resilience. The video starred K. Todd Freeman (Wicked), Tim Guinee (Founder of Climate Actors), Ann Harada (Avenue Q), Laurel Harris (Jagged Little Pill), Lucas Hedges (The Waverly Gallery), Terry Kinney (Co-Founder of Steppenwolf Theatre Company), Judy Kuhn (Fiddler on the Roof), Jose Llana (Here Lies Love), Kristine Nielsen (Spring Awakening), and Lauren Patten (Jagged Little Pill).

Filmed in January 2020, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, the short was written by Heather Robb and shot and edited by Situation Interactive. Since its creation, the BGA reports that one fact presented during the video has changed: 2016 is now tied with 2020 as the warmest year on record.
