Social Transformations: a Conversation with Social Scientists and Artists

Season for Change is hosting a virtual event: Social Transformations: a Conversation with Social Scientists and Artists on November 9, 2020 from 11:00AM-12:00PM.

A conversation featuring artists and the Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations.

Can art affect people's perception of climate change? Join us for a conversation between social scientists (CAST) and artist guests. This event will be live captioned.

CAST (Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations) is a global hub for understanding the systemic and society-wide transformations that are required to address climate change.

CAST researches and develops the social transformations needed to produce a low-carbon and sustainable society; at the core of their work is a fundamental question of enormous social significance:

How can we as a society live differently – and better – in ways that meet the urgent need for rapid and far-reaching emission reductions?
