This is an exciting trivia competition for elementary and middle school students who are interested in the environment and sustainability!
The Sustainability Trivia Series (STS) is a fun, interactive set of three trivia competitions for elementary and middle school students to test their knowledge of sustainability while also learning important information about climate change and the environment. The Sustainability Trivia Series will consist of three rounds of trivia competitions held virtually through Kahoot quizzes. Participants will log into a Zoom webinar, where the Kahoot will be screenshared. Participants then answer questions on their device, earning points for correct responses. Each round will focus around a different theme of sustainability. The rounds will be conducted as follows (all rounds will run from 4 PM to 5 PM PST):
1. December 20th, 2020: Renewable Energy
2. December 27th, 2020: Environmental Protection
3. January 3rd, 2021: Sustainable Living
The winners of each individual round of the Sustainability Trivia Series will win prizes, while the top 3 scorers cumulatively across all rounds of the Sustainability Trivia Series will receive larger grand prizes.
All elementary and middle school students (kindergarten to eighth grade, inclusive) who are residents of the United States are welcome to participate in this event.
When registering, there will only be one option available (registration for December 20th). However, there are three rounds of trivia competitions, and you are automatically registered for all three through your single registration.
