Taylor Morton, Environmental Health and Education Manager at WE ACT, leads this workshop that will go in-depth and highlight the importance of environmental justice and climate justice issues. In this session, we will learn about WE ACT’s prominent role tackling environmental injustices throughout Northern Manhattan and focus on the significance of this issue to people of color. Participants will become familiar with environmental justice terminology, definitions, and case studies. Join us for this workshop with a lead Environmental Justice educator and leave with a deeper understanding of what is happening in communities facing these issues.
