Frontiers of Climate Science - A 5-Year Review

The Environmental Resilience Institute and UVA Lifetime Learning are hosting a virtual event “Frontiers of Climate Science - A 5-Year Review” on April 6, 2021 from 1:30PM-2:30PM EST.

Speakers: M. Elizabeth “Liz” Magill, Scott Doney, and Karen McGlathery

About this Event:

Provost Liz Magill will interview leading UVA climate scientist and Environmental Sciences Professor Scott Doney on the current state of climate science. Provost Magill and Doney will discuss what we have learned in the past five years about human carbon emissions, our changing climate, and impacts on people and the planet. Karen McGlathery, director of UVA’s Environmental Resilience Institute, will provide opening remarks.
