Stormwater management in your backyard!
About this Event:
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST register by 5pm the day before the event. We will not process registrations after this time.
Stormwater is precipitation that flows across the land, often carrying pollutants to our streams, rivers, ponds, and lakes. It is one of the fastest growing forms of pollution affecting the Chesapeake Bay. Participants will be introduced to the issue and best management practices that can be implemented on your property to decrease the negative impacts stormwater has on our waterways. Healthy streams make healthy communities!
This webinar will be presented by Jodi Sulpizio, the Natural Resources Educator for Penn State Extension in York. She also coordinates the Master Watershed Steward Program and the Gypsy Moth Program in York County. She was a former Naturalist for the York County Parks and Manheim Township in Lancaster. Jodi is passionate about empowering both citizens and volunteers to protect our environmental resources. She is a graduate from Penn State University and majored in Environmental Resource Management with a focus on water resources.
This webinar is presented in partnership with the following organizations: Community Conservation Committee, Penn State Extension York County, and Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
