The Recology Artist in Residence and Educational Tour Program is holding a virtual panel on the topic of Demystifying Compost on Friday, July 23rd from 12:00PM to 12:45PM.

The Recology Organics Program will be discussing all things compost where participants have the chance to learn how it benefits our food systems, combats climate change, and how you can participate!

Recology is excited to offer an in-depth look at our compost program! Join them for a presentation on how the Recology compost program supports a local, circular system. You will learn what happens to your food scraps and yard trimmings once they are collected from your curbside bin, where the finished products end up, and the many benefits of recycling these valuable resources. You will hear from compost experts including:

Erin Levine, Account Manager at Recology Organics, and

Augustin Ortiz, Organics Manager at Recology Blossom Valley Organics in Lamont, CA.

Following the discussion they will answer audience questions.
