Join the folks over at The Climate Museum on Governors Island for Beyond Lies, an illustration collaboration on Saturday, July 31st from 1PM to 3PM.

About this event:

Beyond Lies is a public art collaboration with celebrated illustrator Mona Chalabi. This initiative features a series of posters by Chalabi distilling extensive work by investigative journalists and academic researchers on the fossil fuel industry’s long-standing disinformation crusade. The campaign offers pathways to further learning and inspires community action to break the industry’s grip on climate policy.

LEARN to advocate effectively for an end to fossil fuel-enabling policies by sharpening media literacy skills and take home 8 ½ x 11” copies of the posters to share in local spaces.

JOIN the fight through civic dialogue and action. There’s never been a more impactful time to reach out to Congress to prioritize climate action and ambitious policy-making—free of fossil fuel industry influence—within the budget reconciliation process.
