Join NatureKids BC, Plant a Seed & See What Grows Foundation, and the UBC Botanical Garden team to learn more about the species found in this amazing place.
During the event, Nature Mentor Dr. Tara Moreau and her students will teach us about BC native plants and their importance, citizen science, and, we will even have a chance to take a look at their food garden!
Dr. Tara Moreau is the Associate Director of Sustainability and Community Programs at the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden where she oversees educational programs, sustainability initiatives and community partnerships. Tara has always enjoyed learning about biodiversity and discovering nature’s many lessons.
Our Nature Mentors will be available on the chat to answer any questions that might come up during this pre-recorded event.
