The Horticultural Society of New York presents:

Winter Gardening

Winter is the perfect time to brush up on your gardening knowledge and prepare for spring! Adults will learn about garden planning, season extension, natural pest management, basic botany, soil amendments and more.

Every Saturday we will explore a different aspect of gardening, so please join us for as many Saturdays as you’d like! Registration is free.

This is an in-person class, and proof of vaccination is required to participate.

When:

Saturdays at 11:30am January through March

Where:

Meet us outside The Hort Greenhouse, located within Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park. Our address is 679 Riverside Dr. NY, NY 10031. Pedestrian entrances at 145th and 138th St. Please note that there is no public parking available within Riverbank State Park .

What to expect:

Each Saturday session is an hour in length. All supplies will be provided. Please note that you will be required to show proof of vaccination in order to attend and participate in the class.
