Suitable for ages 10+

Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center’s artist educator, Sydney Anderson, will lead monthly lessons on the power of migration and the Atlantic Flyway and engage participants in a community paper-mache art project. Come learn about the birds that call Jones Beach home and make a paper-mache bird of your own that will be featured in a special exhibition at JBENC!

Each 3-hour session will consist of:

• Lesson on birds and migration

• Creation of unique paper-mache birds

• Bird watching around the Center

• Putting the finishing touches on paper-mache birds
