This event will be presented by Journei Manzayila Bimwala, the Co-Chair of the Foodway at Concrete Plant Park, New York City’s sustainable food landscape. Bimwala will host a tour through the foodway, share how her story connects to the natural landscape and plants of the Bronx, and help us understand what nature and plants can show us about the history and community of the Bronx.

This event will be in-person at the Bronx River Foodway and is part of OHMA's Thursday Oral History Salon Series.
