The 3-hour kick-off event offers an introduction to WWFF with an intimate screening of ten short films along with panel discussion and filmmaker Q&A

The World Water Film Festival (WWFF), in partnership with United Nations partners International Groundwater Resources Assessment Centre (IGRAC), Youth for Global Health & Social Justice, "Let's Talk About Water" and "Mayors Make Movies", and in collaboration with the UN Water Conference 2023, is hosting an intimate kick-off event in New York City.

The kick-off event will welcome guest speaker Dr. Sheryl Simmons of Youth for Global Health & Social Justice, screen a sampling of ten short films by impactful storytellers from around the world, and feature notable panelists, offering a sneak-peak of what to expect for WWFF’s inaugural festival – which will coincide with the UN Water Conference in March 2023.
