Join us for an in-person event with writer and perfumer Tanaïs for a discussion of their new book In Sensorium: Notes for My People. This event will be hosted in the Strand Book Store's 3rd floor Rare Book Room at 828 Broadway on 12th Street.
In Sensorium: Notes for My People is a memoir that offers an alternative history of South Asia from an American Bangladeshi Muslim femme perspective. Their narrative discusses their personal experiences in the context of colonization, capitalism, and climate change.
This event is ticketed. You may purchase a copy of the book, or a $5 admission ticket.
