Come join Human Impact Institute’s summer fellows, Nayise and Natalie, as they showcase their project on daylighting Tibbetts Brook. Working with the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance, this project will be displayed at one of their Starlight Cinema events. Before the movie Them!, tables will be set up to engage the community and teach them about the environment. Our Daylighting Tibbetts Brook project will include an interactive clay piece, photos and information available to the community to teach them about NYCs sewer system and the benefits of daylighting specifically at the local location of Tibbetts Brook. Community members are free to ask questions and learn about what is happening in their own neighborhood.

Event will be held at the southern end of the Parade Ground in Van Cortlandt Park. Enter the Park at Broadway and W. 246th Street (across the street from Burger King).
