Big Reuse, in partnership with the Department of Sanitation, is conducting outreach to increase awareness of and participation in Curbside Composting and we need your help!

Our Neighborhood Outreach events give you the opportunity to talk one-on-one with other New Yorkers about the importance of composting and how they can participate. Once you register, we'll send you more details, information on the program, and helpful tips.

We'll meet near the Newkirk Plaza B/Q stop for a brief training before we begin.

This volunteer opportunity, upon completion, can be counted towards the 30 volunteer hours required for the Master Composter Certificate; in addition to the completion of 7 workshops and 2 field trips.
