Leaf Litter Eco-Print Workshop

Did you know trees produce beautiful hues and prints that can be used for natural dyeing? In this hands-on workshop led by the LES Ecology Center, you’ll learn how leaves, seeds, and bark from NYC street trees can be a fun and accessible resource for dyeing fabrics.

Get ready to practice techniques and take home a completed project! Beyond the basics of natural dyeing, we'll also discuss food waste, waste reduction and how you can compost in NYC. This workshop is best suited for adults.
