Join the Lower East Side Ecology Center for a Thursday evening fishing clinic on the East River Estuary, held in collaboration with Solar 1. Try your hand at catch and release, discuss and attempt to identify the various fish species that live here, and watch as the shore birds outfish us all :).

All ages, abilities, and skill levels welcome. Please enter through the 20th street entrance to the park under the FDR. You will find them to your left in the northern section of the park along the bulkhead. All fishing equipment will be provided. Feel free to bring along a reusable water bottle and something to protect you from the sun.
