The Waterfront Alliance is hosting an event, the “2021 Waterfront Conference”, from May 10, 2021-May 14, 2021. This event is not free and guests must purchase a ticket to attend this conference.
The Waterfront Conference—the conference on a boat—has grown into the region’s premier forum for dialogue and discourse about our shared waterfront. The event draws more than 600 participants, including policymakers, waterfront advocates, journalists, academics, as well as engineering, architecture, and nonprofit professionals. Each conference focuses on a different theme, with common threads including the working waterfront, waterfront access, climate change, resiliency, and governance.
Topics Include:
Maritime industry sustainability, COVID-19, and innovation.
Climate dialogue on the natural world renewables, environmental education equity, and justice.
Resiliency— how we build on the water and in the water, and paying for it.
