Growing a Wild NYC! (Virtual Workshop)

GrowNYC Education is hosting a virtual event “Growing a Wild NYC! (Virtual Workshop)” on May 11, 2021 from 4:00PM-5:00PM EST.

Attendees will receive a Zoom link through email.

About this Event:

The National Wildlife Federation will introduce activities from its new curriculum, Growing a Wild NYC: A K-5 Urban Pollinator Curriculum. Meet some of New York City’s most common wild pollinator species - including bumble bees and monarch butterflies - and learn how you can grow a pollinator patch at home or school to help them thrive.

This spring environmental education workshop series was organized by GrowNYC and the National Wildlife Federation to promote outdoor learning for students, families, and teachers.

The workshop will be recorded and posted to grownycdistancelearning.org
