Join Bright Green Business for their virtual insight on Sustainability In Business: Ooni’s Journey to Environmental Sustainability on Tuesday, July 6th from 6:00PM to 7:00PM

About this event:

Ooni, a rapidly growing pizza oven company is committed to embedding sustainability at the heart of their organization and they are currently working towards the Sustainability Developmental Goals in line with the United Nations. To support this goal, they took advantage of the Bright Green Businesses Environmental Placement Program(EPP) and took on Elspeth, a recent graduate, as their Sustainability Coordinator for 12 weeks.

The program was hugely successful, and Elspeth helped to streamline and structure existing initiatives to ensure a coordinated approach around 5 main areas - Greenhouse Gas Reporting, Zero Waste, Team Engagement, Ooni’s Impact Fund and Social & Ethical Responsibility. She was able to facilitate target-setting and the development of Ooni’s emissions reduction and removal strategy.

Developing Ooni’s impact strategy provided invaluable experience for Elspeth and was hugely beneficial for the company.
