Join the LES Ecology Center for their East River Ecology Exploration on Thursday, August 12th from 10:30AM to 11:30AM.

About this event:

This is a free, family-friendly event where oyster cages installed by the Billion Oyster Project will be pulled up and explore the species inside. Learn about the history of oysters in New York City and their important role in this estuary ecosystem.

The oysters will be counted and measured and that data will be submitted to the Billion Oyster Project database. Water quality testing activities will also be conducted!
